Wednesday Championship Round

Vega Baja 12, Prodigy Elite 7 (TITLE)
Vega Baja prevailed in the 10-minute winner-take-all extra period to win the Moe Reed championship, as Jandres Melendez led the way with seven points and Dylan Hernandez added three. Elite was limited to one field goal by Marlo Moore in the extra session.

Prodigy Elite beat Vega Baja (Title #1)
The Elite avenged an earlier setback to force a winner-take-all extra 10-minute period for the Moe Reed Tournament title. An explosive third quarter allowed the Elite to pull away, as Philip Thigpen led the way with 15 points and Fredrick Gardner collected 10 points. Dylan Hernandez hit double figures for Vega Baja with 10 markers.

3rd- Bayamon ABB 45, Avalon Runners 42
Zabdiel Rivera scored 11 of his 16 points in the final stanza to key Bayamon ABB to third place, while Hendel Rivera chipped in nine points. Khalil Bland notched a game-high 18 points to lead the Runners, while Jermain Beard added 13 points.

Wednesday, April 17 Pool Play

Vega Baja 45, Prodigy Elite 40
In a championship game preview, Vega Baja prevailed with balance as Luis Cosme scored 10 points, Carlos Padilla nine and Eddiel Melendez and Dylan Hernandez eight each. Noah Mister tallied 12 points for the Elite, which fell short in a comeback effort despite a 23-point fourth quarter.

Avalon Runners 52, Bayamon ABB 44
Khalil Bland lit up the nets for 29 points to ignite the Runners, who also got 10 points from Keontae Davis. Bayamon was led by Hendel Rivera with eight points and Ignacio Arroyo with seven points.

Tuesday, April 16

Prodigy Elite 57, Avalon Runners 32
   Fredrick Gardner poured in 15 of his 16 points in the second quarter when Elite gained a 22-3 scoring advantage and never looked back. For the Runners, Khalil Bland clicked for 15 points.

Vega Baja 48, Bayamon ABB 33
Keyed by a dozen points each from Jandres Melendez and Dylan Hernandez, Vega Baja pulled away with a 28-17 advantage in the second half. Sebastian Arroyo and Jeremy Sierra topped the effort for Bayamon with nine points each.

Prodigy Elite 54, Bayamon ABB 24
Noah Mister notched 12 points and Marlo Moore 10 points for the Elite, which gained a 30-11 margin after halftime to improve to 2-0 in pool play. ABB was paced by Zabdiel Rivera with nine points.

Vega Baja 55, Avalon Runners 26
Vega Baja got 10 points each from Diego Melendez, Jan Miranda and Dylan Hernandez to improve to 2-0 in pool play, as the winner took charge with an 18-0 differential in the second quarter. The Runners were topped by Jermain Beard with nine points.
